假綠真危機

二十年前，永續議題首次進入資訊科技（IT）企業的決策層，當時鮮少人預料它會成為主流。然而，如今幾乎所有主要科技供應商都宣稱自己是「永續領導者」，但實際上，大多數宣稱仍停留在行銷層面。研究顯示，多達九成科技企業存在「漂綠」（greenwashing）現象，誇大其環保表現。對 IT 領導者而言，能夠辨別真實行動與假綠色包裝，已成為 ESG 管理中不可或缺的領導能力。

Two decades after sustainability first entered IT boardrooms, few expected it to dominate corporate strategy. Today, nearly every major technology supplier presents itself as a sustainability champion - yet much of the progress is superficial. Studies indicate that up to 90% of tech companies engage in some form of greenwashing, overstating their environmental performance. For IT leaders, distinguishing genuine action from marketing rhetoric has become an essential leadership skill in the era of ESG accountability.

驗證才是防線 面對過度包裝的永續宣稱，最有效的防線是「驗證」。真正負責任的供應商會以具公信力的國際標準支撐主張，例如 SBTi 科學基礎減碳目標、GHG Protocol 溫室氣體盤查標準，以及 ISO 14064-3 的第三方驗證。 能源相關承諾如「百分之百再生能源」，應以長期購電協議（PPA）作為依據，而非年度憑證。在硬體面，EPEAT 與 TCO Certified 等認證，能確認產品在可維修、可回收與材料使用上的永續表現。IT 資產處理方面，應要求逐項的再利用或銷毀證明，以建立可追蹤的稽核紀錄。

Independent Verification Builds Accountability True accountability depends on independent assurance. Reports verified under ISO 14064-3 evaluate the reliability of a company’s carbon data. IT executives should examine who conducted the audit, its scope, and whether the assurance opinion was “limited” or “reasonable.” Broader frameworks such as e-Stewards, R2v3, EcoVadis, and CDP also help ensure consistency across global supply chains.

從內部建立能力 任何制度若缺乏懂得判讀的內部團隊，都無法真正發揮效用。企業應培訓採購與法務人員，熟悉「綠色宣稱守則」（Green Claims Code），並學會閱讀查驗聲明。同時，應在合約中設置透明條款、採用評分機制與供應商稽核，以確保資訊真實可信。

Building Internal Capability Frameworks alone are not enough. Procurement and legal teams must be trained to understand the Green Claims Code and interpret assurance statements. Companies should include transparency clauses in contracts, apply scoring rubrics, and conduct vendor audits to maintain honest claims.

永續是領導責任 永續不再只是品牌形象，而是衡量企業品質的新標準。IT 領導者必須以審視財報的嚴謹態度檢視環境揭露。唯有要求證據與問責，才能帶領產業邁向真正的綠色 IT 轉型。

Sustainability as a Leadership Duty Sustainability is no longer a branding exercise - it’s a fundamental quality metric.
