After three years of unremitting efforts, the Interloop Kapas project successfully received certification from Control Union, Sri Lanka's authoritative certification body. This honor not only marks the project's outstanding achievements, but also highlights Interloop's global leadership in the field of sustainable textiles.

This project covers 5,090 acres of land and has so far produced 7,000 bales of organic cotton. It is of great significance to promoting the sustainable development of local agriculture and improving the socio-economic structure. The project focuses on providing technical support and resources to help 1,000 farmers acquire advanced agricultural skills and digital tools to improve farm productivity and soil health, while also helping farmers access high-value global markets.

值得一提的是，此次認證的獲得建立在 2023 年取得的「有機棉轉化認證」（InConversion Organic Cotton，IC1）的基礎之上。該認證確保從棉花的種植到最終產品的整個過程中，有機材料的完整性得到了嚴格維護，這對於構建透明且可信賴的供應鏈至關重要。

Promote sustainable and innovative development

The Interloop Kapas Project (ILOK) has as its core objectives the promotion of farmer well-being and environmental sustainability. The project not only focuses on increasing the supply and digital traceability of organic cotton, but also on upskilling female cotton pickers, teaching them the best harvesting techniques to reduce pollution, thereby improving product quality and ensuring sustainability while supporting gender equality.

It is worth mentioning that this certification is based on the "InConversion Organic Cotton (IC1)" obtained in 2023. This certification ensures that the integrity of organic materials is rigorously maintained from the cultivation of cotton to the final product, which is critical to building a transparent and trustworthy supply chain.

2030 年可持續發展目標與遠景

展望未來，Interloop 制定了雄心勃勃的可持續發展計劃，目標是在 2025 年實現 70% 的原材料來自可持續來源的承諾。目前，公司的可持續材料組合包括 BCI 棉、有機棉、再生棉、再生聚酯和再生尼龍。此外，Interloop 已承諾參與「紡織交流」（Textile Exchange）的挑戰，力爭到 2025 年實現 100% 可持續棉花採購。

2030 Sustainable Development Goals and Vision

Looking to the future, Interloop has an ambitious sustainability plan, aiming to achieve its commitment to source 70% of its raw materials from sustainable sources by 2025. The company's sustainable materials portfolio currently includes BCI cotton, organic cotton, recycled cotton, recycled polyester and recycled nylon. In addition, Interloop has committed to participating in the Textile Exchange challenge to achieve 100% sustainable cotton sourcing by 2025.

To ensure the transparency of the supply chain, Interloop independently developed a traceability platform called "Looptrace". Since its launch in September 2021, the platform has tracked the activities of 42,000 farmers and is supported by full data recording and supply chain transparency. In addition, the agricultural management application "Loopkisan" has achieved remarkable results after the pilot. The application can not only directly record farmers' data, but also provide real-time insights to help farmers optimize agricultural production. When the application is combined with the "Looptrace" system, overall transparency is further enhanced.
