大馬啟用首座電動車廠

馬來西亞總理安華（Anwar Ibrahim）宣布，位於霹靂州丹絨馬林的寶騰（Proton）廠區內，全國首座專屬電動車（EV）組裝廠正式投產。該廠是「第十三大馬計畫」下的重要高影響力項目之一，屬於汽車高科技谷（Automotive High Tech Valley, AHTV）的核心計畫。

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has officially launched the country’s first dedicated electric vehicle (EV) assembly plant at Proton’s Tanjung Malim site in Perak, marking a milestone in Malaysia’s clean mobility ambitions. The facility is a key component of the Automotive High Tech Valley (AHTV), designated as a high-impact initiative under the 13th Malaysia Plan.

這座投資額8,200萬令吉、占地5.57英畝的工廠，自2024年2月動工僅七個月便全面量產，展現馬來西亞在電動車領域快速布局的決心。首款量產車型為2023年12月亮相的Proton e.MAS 7，已受到當地消費者歡迎，接下來還將推出Proton e.MAS 5，逐步擴大品牌的純電車系。

此外，寶騰與中國吉利的合作亦將延伸至Zeekr等高階電動車品牌，進一步推動馬來西亞成為區域性電動車製造與出口的核心基地。

EV growth. The first model to roll off the line is the Proton e.MAS 7, launched in December 2023 and already a favourite among local buyers. It will soon be joined by the Proton e.MAS 5, broadening Proton’s EV lineup.

工廠初期年產能為2萬輛，可因應需求擴充至4.5萬輛。產線配備底盤組裝、後段組裝、玻璃裝配與電動車電測系統等高端自動化設備，並已招聘30名受訓員工，未來將創造超過200個電動車相關新職缺。

Through its partnership with China’s Geely, Proton will also assemble premium EVs, including Zeekr models, positioning Malaysia as a regional hub for EV production and exports.

同時，AHTV亦著手優化物流與供應鏈。AHTV Alliance與馬來西亞鐵路資產公司（RAC）及馬來亞鐵道公司（KTM）簽署協議，研究建立鐵路貨運與物流樞紐，以減少對公路運輸的依賴，降低碳排並提升供應鏈效率。

The facility starts with an annual capacity of 20,000 vehicles, expandable to 45,000 as demand grows. It is equipped with state-of-the-art automation, including chassis assembly, rear-unit assembly, glass glazing systems, and EV electrical testing systems. Proton has hired 30 trained employees for the initial phase and expects to create over 200 EV-related jobs as production scales.

馬來西亞在「2050年碳中和」目標下，正積極發展新能源汽車與綠色產業。

Alongside manufacturing, AHTV is enhancing logistics and supply chain efficiency. AHTV Alliance Sdn Bhd has signed agreements with the Railway Assets Corporation (RAC) and Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) to explore a rail cargo link and logistics hub, aiming to cut road transport dependency and reduce carbon emissions.
