影音串流巨頭 Netflix 永續長 Emma Stewart 宣布離職，並將轉任至氣候故事推廣機構 Climate Spring 及多個產業諮詢機構。

Emma Stewart, Netflix’s inaugural Chief Sustainability Officer, has announced her departure from the streaming powerhouse to take on strategic advisory roles at Climate Spring, the Sustainable Entertainment Alliance, and Futerra. During her five-year tenure, Stewart spearheaded Netflix’s climate targets while embedding environmental storytelling directly into global content programming.

在其任內，Netflix 設定了以 2019 年為基準的 2030 年減碳目標： 將範疇 1 和 2 排放量減少 46%，並將範疇 3 的碳排放強度降低 55% 。

Key Sustainability & Content Milestones:

儘管總排放量因購買商品與服務增加而上升，Netflix 強調其 範疇 3 碳排放強度年減了 14% ，整體發展仍符合 2030 年的減碳路徑。此外，公司計劃透過購買無碳電力能源屬性證明（EACs）與碳權等氣候解決方案，持續抵銷 2022 年以後的剩餘排放。

Grid Decarbonization & Credits: The platform continues to match residual emissions through retail carbon-free electricity certificates and high-integrity carbon credits.

Netflix has not yet disclosed succession plans for its corporate sustainability leadership.
